Arnie Boldt

April 3, 1981 - Today was the day that a one-legged Canadian named Arnie Boldt broke the previous record with a high jump of 6 feet and 8.25 inches.

Arnie lost his right leg in a farming accident at age 3, but it didn't stop him from participating in many sports, including swimming, volleyball and most notably, track and field.
