Chased by Bigfoot

April 22, 1973 - At around 10pm on this evening, something scary jumped out of the bushes at the Sycamore Flats campground in the mountains above Los Angeles. The towering beast flailed its hairy arms at 3 young men who were riding by in a pickup truck. The terrified teens sped away from the scene but they claim the ape-like creature chased them for about 20 seconds.

The witnesses reported the encounter to the Sheriff in nearby Lancaster. Upon returning to the campground they located numerous giant footprints along the road. Oddly, these prints had only 3 toes, unlike the normal run-of-the-mill Bigfoot track with 5 toes.

There have been many other monster and UFO sightings over the years in and around the Sycamore Flats campground. It seems to be a hotbed for weird activity including one case where strange mechanical sounds were recorded coming from the ground.
