November 14, 1939 - After 29 years and 5 months of living it up as an Australian cattle dog, Bluey, finally kicked the bucket. He is the oldest dog ever verified by Guinness World Records. The average life expectancy of a dog is between 12 and 13 years, so Bluey was definitely an overachiever.
