Evel's Skycycle

September 8, 1974 - Today was the day the famous daredevil, Evel Kenievel, attempted his most audacious stunt. He tried to jump Idaho's Snake River Canyon in a steam-powered "Skycycle," which was basically a small rocket.

The Twin Falls Times-News described the event as "an exclamation without a point."
